Meet Pastor Donald Antor

Pastor Donald Antor

Rev. Dr. Donald Antor

Associate Pastor, Director of Youth Ministries

Pastor Donald has been serving at Immanuel since January 2016 as Associate Pastor, Director of Youth Ministries. He feels extremely blessed to be serving at Immanuel. Youth ministry is important to him because youth are going through so much in their lives that he wants them to know Christ and that God is with them through whatever they are facing. One of the most important parts of his ministry is going on summer trips with the youth, whether it be the LCMS National Youth Gathering or mission trips. He looks forward to going on those trips each summer.

Pastor Donald earned his bachelor’s degree in Theology from Concordia University Chicago. After graduating college, he enrolled at Concordia Seminary St. Louis and earned his Master of Divinity. In 2021 he earned his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in “Youth, Family, and Culture” from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He was excited to work on his DMin in this area from Fuller because of the great impact the Fuller Youth Institute has had on youth ministry. He knew that he would be learning from people who are on the forefront of youth ministry. He feels blessed that his work at Fuller has helped to strengthen the Confirmation curriculum at Immanuel.

At the school, Pastor Donald teaches an elective on Faith and Pop Culture for our middle school students. He enjoys leading the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) huddle at Immanuel for middle school students along with the lunch Bible Study for 4th and 5th graders going through the Action Bible. He also, joins the 8th graders on their mission trip during the school year. And he is also known to join the students in physical education.

His favorite Bible passage is Matthew 28:20b, which was his Confirmation and Ordination verse.
