Ms. Farwell has been at ILS since 2020. She teaches Kindergarten and loves it because each student is a unique child of God. In her classroom she helps them come to realize the fullness of God’s love for them and to develop in them a love for learning.

Why did you choose the teaching profession?
I chose the teaching profession because I enjoys seeing the children discover the world around them. I am passionate about teaching to the whole child. That includes the Development of social-emotional, spiritual, physical, cognitive and literacy skills all intertwined and equally important.

What do you love most about teaching?
Kindergarten is extra special to me because I love watching them have such an eagerness to learn and those “light bulb click” moments.

Why does teaching/working at Immanuel Lutheran School appeal to you?
I enjoy teaching at Immanuel because it safe, welcoming, caring, and Jesus- centered environment for children and staff.

What do you see as the benefits to the students for attending Immanuel Lutheran School?
Immanuel is a special place because we can work together to help students achieve academic success. Most importantly, we can help build each other up in the faith.
