Daily Physical Activity
Immanuel offers daily physical education class for all First through Eighth Grade students. Kindergartners have physical education multiple times per week. Children in Grade 5 and below also have recess every day, unless temperatures fall below zero degrees.
Mission Trips and Events
Immanuel’s students have daily opportunities to care for others, in the classroom, on the playground, through outreach activities in the community, culminating in an Eighth Grade mission trip to West Virginia.
Immanuel regularly competes at the state level in basketball, cheerleadering, cross country, volleyball, and track. Immanuel is credited with more state and national cross country and basketball tournament appearances than any other Lutheran school in the country.
Immanuel offers arts classes throughout the year and numerous opportunities to engage and perform including band, musicals, handbells, chapel choir, and monthly art displays.
Immanuel’s weekly Chapel services are led by pastors, teachers, and the students, providing opportunities to grow in their faith.
Immanuel provides daily hot lunch, lovingly cooked by our chef, Miss Rita, for 40 years. Incorporating the latest guidelines for healthy food for children, our lunches offer a variety of fruit and vegetables, along with a healthy main course.
