Grades K-8 | 2025-2026
We are so excited to welcome you to our Immanuel community! We strive to make the admissions and enrollment process as smooth as possible. The process is designed with your family in mind and it will connect you with members of our team who will guide you through the process and help to ensure that Immanuel if a good fit for your student and family. With any immediate concerns, please reach out to our school office at 847-359-1936.
Application
Parents of students who are new to the school must complete an online APPLICATION to onboard your family into our school management system. This will be done in FACTS. Click on “Apply Now”, then follow the instructions. During this process, a Teacher Referral Form will be requested. If your student has never attended school before, write N/A.
NOTE: There is a $25 FACTS fee when submitting the application.
Step 1
Family Interview with Principal and Academic Assessments
Next, you will be contacted to arrange a Family Interview with Dr. Calendo. These interviews provide an opportunity for prospective families to engage in meaningful dialogue about the school's mission, values, and educational approach. The principal aims to understand each family's unique dynamics, aspirations, and how they align with the nurturing Christian environment we strive to create. This personal touch ensures that new families feel welcomed and supported as they embark on their educational journey with us, fostering a strong sense of community from the very beginning.
At this point, we will also discuss which academic assessments, if any, are necessary.
Step 3
Checkpoint # 1 - Acceptance
Families will receive an acceptance letter via email, confirming their child's admission to Immanuel Lutheran School. This letter will outline important details regarding enrollment, orientation dates, and any necessary next steps to ensure a smooth transition into our Immanuel community. Additionally, we encourage families to reach out with any questions they may have as they prepare for this exciting new chapter in their child’s education.
Schedule a Tour
We look forward to meeting you and your family and showing you our campus! To schedule a tour for Grades K-8, please contact Principal Dr. Tanya Calendo at tcalendo@ilcp.org.

Scholarships
Immanuel Lutheran School (ILS) is pleased to offer criteria-based scholarships made possible through funding from Immanuel Lutheran School Education Foundation (ILSEF). These scholarships, while not need-based, are designed for families who would benefit from modest financial assistance. As a reminder, tuition assistance IS 100% needs-based, and the distributions from the tuition assistance program reflect that greater need.
Scholarships are available on a year-to-year basis, dependent on the funds available. If a student qualifies for multiple scholarships, ILS reserves the right to cap the total amount awarded per student for the academic year.
The first scholarship distribution will occur on April 15, 2025, with all re-enrollment steps due by March 31, 2025.
The second distribution will occur on June 6, 2025, with re-enrollment steps due by May 23, 2025.
Additional distributions will be scheduled if any funds remain.
Please refer to the attached application form for detailed information on the scholarship criteria and the steps required to apply. Completed applications can be submitted via hard copy to the school office or via email to admissions@ilcp.org.
