Students entering Grades 1-8 may participate in a shadow day for part of the school day. Students will shadow in the grade in which they are currently enrolled. In order to participate in a shadow day, a tour must be completed.

Immanuel Lutheran gives up to $75,000 in needs-based financial aid each year to qualifying families.
At Immanuel Lutheran School, we strongly believe that Christian education is not a commodity. It’s a ministry. It’s a commitment. It’s a connection–a connection of your child’s needs, your family philosophy and our philosophy. That’s why at ILS, the first and most important consideration is what is best educationally for your child. All other considerations are secondary.
As a ministry to Christian families, it is our desire that no family seeking a Christ-centered education be denied due to a lack of financial resources. Money IS important, and tuition is an investment in the life of your child. That’s why Immanuel Lutheran has one of the most robust needs-based financial aid programs in our area to assist families who demonstrate a financial need through our FACTS process. FACTS is a highly confidential online, third-party vendor. Its goal is to assist in determining a financial need for our current and new families. We will be glad to share all the details and answer any questions you have about tuition and financial aid. Our goal is that money will not stand in the way for qualified families.

Those wishing to apply for financial assistance from Immanuel Palatine must first complete an application using FACTS. Applications are currently open for the 2024-2025 school year. Applications will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year. Once the committee has met, they will communicate the financial award amounts. Please be aware that FACTS Management charges a $40 processing/handling fee. To complete the tuition assistance application, you will be asked to provide your most recent tax return documents. Be sure to explain your financial hardship in the notes section.
