Meet Becky Talizin

Mrs. Talizin (pronounced tah-LEE-zeen) is a graduate of Immanuel having attended for all of elementary school. She enjoyed her time at Immanuel, is excited to be part of the Bobcat family once again, and hopes to have a part in her students’ positive experience. After Immanuel, Mrs. Talizin attended Palatine High School, Augustana College for undergraduate school, and was the graduate assistant athletic trainer at Rockford College (now University) where she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching. Throughout her professional career, she has been both a teacher and an athletic trainer, maintaining certification/licensure for both. She is ISBE credentialed to teach 6-12 General Science, Biological Sciences, and Health Sciences. Having only taught in public schools, Mrs. Talizin is excited to be able to openly share the gospel and help students be able to prepare a defense for why they believe in Christ (1 Peter 3:15).
Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Talizin enjoys spending time with her family. She is blessed with a husband, daughter, and a COVID rescue puppy, as well as having both parents and her sister living locally.
