Immanuel Loves a Parade!

parade pastor warrenJoin us on Saturday, July 1st, at 11:00 a.m. for Palatine’s Hometown Fest Independence Day Parade. Immanuel will be participating in the parade again this year. Thousands line the streets in downtown Palatine to watch the parade…and the parade passes right by Immanuel on Wood Street. This is a great opportunity for us to get the “Word” out to the greater Palatine community about the wonderful things happening here at Immanuel.

All Immanuel members, students/families, coaches, staff, American Heritage Girls, and Trail Life Boys, are invited to participate in Immanuel’s parade unit. All ages are welcome! We will have a vintage John Deere tractor pulling a trailer, which will have places to sit if you prefer not to walk.

Meet at the flagpole outside the school’s main entrance at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Those gathered will depart at 10:15 a.m. to walk to the parade line-up area.

We are in need of several adults to carry flags and banners, and to help distribute special Immanuel materials along the parade route.

Those interested should contact Pastor Warren via e-mail at PastorWarren@ilcp.org or by phone at 847-359-1549 (church/school) or 630-673-2839 (cell).
