Our Leadership and Administrative Team

Mrs. Schiestel has over 15 years of teaching experience and 3 years of administrative experience. She loves to teach science to Immanuel’s Middle School students. She knew during her own elementary school years that she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up; her passion for her chosen career remains steadfast. Mrs. Schiestel feels honored and blessed that God called her to work with the Immanuel students, families and staff.

Mrs. Schiestel attended Concordia University, Chicago, where she earned her bachelors degree in Secondary Education; she continued her education at Concordia University, Wisconsin, where she is currently pursuing her masters degree in Teaching and Learning. Mrs. Schiestel is licensed through the Illinois State Board of Education and completed the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod School Leadership Development program for school administrators.

Pastor Warren grew up at Immanuel! He is so grateful to have been called as one of the pastors and finds it a wonderful blessing to serve in his hometown. Every day God gives him the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the Immanuel congregation and with the people of the Palatine community. God has surrounded Pastor Warren with so much encouragement that he simply finds it a joy to serve in this place.

Mrs. Tres has over 15 years of Early Childhood experience. She is the director of our Early Childhood program and loves to teach the youngest of Immanuel’s preschool students. She decided to become a teacher when she was in Seventh Grade and has not lost her passion for her chosen career and her love of children since. She loves to “play outside” and often uses nature to teach about God’s creation and to share stories about Jesus’ love.

Mrs. Tres attended Concordia University, Chicago, where she earned her bachelors degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education; she continued her education at Northern Illinois University where she earned her masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Tres is licensed through the Illinois State Board of Education and holds endorsements in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Stammer was blessed to attend a Christian school from kindergarten all the way through college. Through this opportunity, she developed a passion for Christian education. Mrs. Stammer loves to share her passion for Christian education with every family she comes in contact with; especially through her role as Immanuel’s Director of Admissions. She treasures being a part of the Immanuel family where the goal is to “Build Strong Minds and Compassionate Hearts, One Child at a Time”.

Mrs. Mayyou feels honored to be in the Lord’s service alongside her Immanuel family. While the faculty does a fantastic job of educating Immanuel’s students, Mrs. Mayyou blesses each child that passes through her office with her nurturing and caring nature. Her favorite part of  being on staff at Immanuel is bonding with the school families and witnessing the work of the Holy Spirit; eternally transforming the lives of students and preparing them for a life of Christian service.

Mrs. Casillas has been working at Immanuel since 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping. She feels blessed to work at Immanuel where she can use her God given gifts and talents.

Mrs. Judge cares for Immanuel’s students during one of the most important times of the day—after school. She works an amazing mix of structure, free play, academics, creativity, spiritual growth, and quiet time into her program in order to meet the needs of her students on any given day. As a working parent, she understands the positive impact a quality after school program can have on the entire family; she feels blessed to partner with Immanuel families to this end.
