Nicola Lloyd - Full Day Kindergarten
About Mrs. Lloyd
Mrs. Lloyd has over 10 years of teaching experience. She loves teaching kindergarten students at Immanuel and strives to affirm the identity of each of her students as a beloved child of God. Mrs. Lloyd has a deep passion for Lutheran education and strives to foster a foundation for a lifetime love of learning in her classroom.
Mrs. Lloyd attended Concordia University Chicago where she earned her bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Lloyd is licensed through the Illinois State Board of Education and holds an endorsement in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3).

Kristy Heimsoth - Partial Day Kindergarten
About Miss. Heimsoth
Miss Heimsoth comes to us with experience! Her role will be to teach kindergarten and coordinate special education. Most recently Miss. Heimsoth served as an early childhood teacher at the Concordia Early Childhood Center at Concordia University Chicago. She has served as a mentor for student teachers, is well versed in problem-based learning models, and understands the importance of building strong relationships with children and their families. Prior to serving at the Concordia Early Childhood Center, she taught preschool at Good Shephard Lutheran School in Elgin, and student taught at Trinity Lutheran in Wahiawa, Hawaii where her experiences included teaching kindergarten and second grade, and engaging students with hands on strategies supported by technology.
Miss Heimsoth attended Concordia University Chicago, where she earned her bachelors degree in Lutheran Childhood Education; she continued her education at Concordia University Chicago, where she earned her masters degree in Childhood Education. Miss Heimsoth is licensed through the Illinois State Board of Education and holds an endorsement Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3).
