Welcome Back! I am so excited to welcome everyone back for this new school year. I hope that you had a great summer and that you were able to enjoy time with your family, whether you were off to some exotic location, hunkered down for a stay-cation, or spent your weekends on the sidelines cheering on your child’s team. We are glad that you have returned safe and sound.
Our theme verse for this year was selected by our 8th grade class: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11. What an awesome reminder of what it means to live as a follower of Christ! Build each other up and Encourage each other. In a world where so many people subscribe to the “tear down” philosophy, this idea of encouraging is foreign. Society promotes pulling down, knocking down, tearing down. Christ directs us to build up, strengthen up, and to lift up. And when we work together, building each other up, helping each other up, we find that we can achieve great things under the Spirit’s guidance.
I pray that your family has a blessed year. Please let us know if we can help to encourage or support you in any way.
