The 8th graders worked hard fulfilling Valentine’s Day carnation orders to earn money towards their upcoming Mission Trip to Kentucky. Over 1,500 flowers were sold! Thanks to everyone for all the orders and support! The class would also like to thank Thrivent for their generous financial contribution.
About the Eighth Grade Mission Trip
As our Eighth Grade class learns about sharing the Gospel, they participate in a mission trip. Each year students, teachers, and parent volunteers go to Kentucky or West Virginia for a week to work with World Servants helping people less fortunate than themselves. For many students, this mission provides new insight into a lifestyle unlike any they’ve known before. They also learn how to work together to achieve things they didn’t know they could. It can be a life-changing experience that they carry with them for the rest of their lives.
